I was born in October 1979. Do the math:)


How would your parents describe you as a child? Why?

Hyperactive. I used to run away from home at 3 years old to discover the surroundings. 


What is your academic degree?

Architect and post-PhD in Actual Art.


How many countries have you visited?

So far in February 2018, 111 countries.


How long have you been traveling?

I have been on the road for the last 7 years. However, I started traveling at the beginning of 2000. 


What is your most memorable travel experience?

Really so many.


What are the top 10 of your best travel experiences then?

1- Dive with silver tip sharks in French Polynesia

2- Free-dive up to 30 meters (100 feet) in Thailand

3- Cycled Japan and Korea for 3 months

4- Served the queen of England in Melbourne, Australia

5- Stood by an active volcano in Vanuatu

6- Saw a total solar eclipse in Cairns, Australia

7- Diving with an international scientific team in Papua New Guinea and we discovered 120 new species

8- Hand gliding in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

9- Visited more than 250 luxury hotels while working for TripAdvisor in 4 countries

10- Designed and built a movie set for a US production in Vietnam


What’s the farthest from home you’ve ever been?

When I crossed the time zone 0 from Cook Islands to Tahiti


How do you sustain yourself on the road?

I try to find jobs on the road. I managed to waiter, work at global companies, or founded a couple of startups. 

What motto do you live your life by? 

The Emperor wants to control outer space... Yoda wants to explore inner space... That's the fundamental differences between the good and the bad sides of the force.


Why do you travel?

I want to explore life. I want to challenge myself mentally and physically, become more aware of my surroundings, reconnect with nature, and get inspirations. I want to confront my cultural references and share my vision of the world with people who may or may not adopt a similar perspective. Most importantly, I want to meet unique and, wholehearted individuals along the way, and recognize those who have made a positive impact, whether it’s on their community, the environment, or me.


Who is your traveler role model?

The Moroccan traveler of the 14th century Ibn Battuta. He traveled around 30 years.


Why this website?

This website creates a link between the people I met along the way and myself. The section of each country that has been visited will contain an interview and a piece of work by an individual who represents his/her nation. Their names will also redirect you to their website or blog. The ultimate objective is to create an inspiration and invite you to be a part of this network by connecting with us.
